What are the DCMA 14-point schedule check thresholds?
Short answer: Missing logic ≤ 5%, leads 0, lags ≤ 5%, finish-to-start links ≥ 90%, hard constraints ≤ 5%, high float (>44 days) ≤ 5%, negative float 0, high duration (>44 days) ≤ 5%, invalid dates 0, resources assigned, missed tasks ≤ 5%, critical path test passes, CPLI ≥ 0.95 and BEI ≥ 0.95.
The DCMA 14-point assessment was written for US defence contracts but is now the common yardstick for programme quality worldwide, including for EOT claims. Treat the thresholds as guidance: a check that fails needs an explanation, not necessarily a change.
The checks that matter most for a claim are logic, constraints, negative float and the critical path test, because they decide whether the programme can show cause and effect.
